Bret or Jemaine?

應該是去年了吧，深夜時段無意間在HBO看到痞客二人組 Flight of the Conchords 的影集，從此讓凱文驚為天人，每集必定要準時收看。最近在討論寶寶的英文名字時，Bret和Jemaine就列入優先選擇名單，其他還有Samuel (《蘋果橘子經濟學》) 和Ryan (某NBA球星？) 等，目前由Jemaine暫時勝出，為什麼哩？其實也沒啥特別的理由。

一直在期待 Flight of the Conchords 新一季的影集，隨手一查卻是令人失望的消息。Flight of the Conchords 官網在去年12/10就已經公告：

Bret, Jemaine and James (co-creator/director) said "... we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. ... While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist."

SIGH。這個影集會受到歡迎，說起來應該可以有很多寓意深遠的分析，但我們愛看的原因很簡單，就是看了會笑得上氣不接下氣。他們的音樂既不柔情似水、也不慷慨激昂，但這些太有趣、太自成一格的歌曲穿插在令人哭笑不得的劇情中，立體感居然如此強烈。希望有機會聽到他們的現場演唱，the real Bret and Jemaine，應該會更有意思吶。
